i do know that enola, i have them separate . thats why i think there are a couple things going on. i believe the sulfa babies are the only ones like that and the rest are cocci babies. the sulfa should of took care of the bubble eyes but it didnt . so i dont know what now.

i have some tylan inj. but they are so little. have you ever had to do inj. on babies? i wonder if i should cull? thats a lot of money and little lives gone. i am so tired of sickness.

i just found an old post about giving tylan to babies and what you should do. it was my post. so i have been through this before and didnt remember.

thank you eggsesive and wyandotte for the earlier help on the old post and know that i am losing it. will start in the morn. again. enola and suzierd, thank you both. i know know that both things are going on and can treat what birds i have left. speaking of, i heard a pip in the bator, 3 more to go.

here lately my whole life is cocci.lol i havent been outside today, dont know if i want to. i have too many birds to deal with and i go buy more. that is wrong. then i ask everyone for help only to discover i have done that already. my memory is bad , sometimes my words dont come out sounding right. i think it is time for me to either stop or do a dramatic cull. maybe if i have to put them down it will teach me to not buy anymore. need my butt kicked.

ok, sorry guys, need to get off my butt and stop feeling sorry for myself. i am going out to face the music. i will do what i can. btw, had one hatch in the house last night, 2 more eggs ready and thats it.

granny - you have/had so much on your plate of late, that I think it is entirely understandable that you are a bit overwhelmed right now and not necessarily thinking completely straight. Cut yourself a little slack

You don't need your butt kicked. You need a hug. Not your butt, the rest of you ;-)

Your chickens bring you joy, and you've needed some. Don't feel too bad you've tried to buy a little. Sure It may not have been the best time, but it wasn't supposed to turn into this disaster. You sure couldn't have seen it coming.

Be kind to yourself and keep putting one foot on front of the other. Get some extra rest when you can, and come back often for support!

not if you guys are gonna make me cry. thank you all. ENOLA, the cocci meds are working for the big flock !!!! some of the brooders are better, the new babies have nasty butt and the crested cream legbars are very sick. can i give tylan inj. with the corrid??? i dont have a scale, (sorry casport pony) but they are quite small, half fuzz /half feathers. should i just take a guess? there are 20 of them left. poor things are blowing snot bubbles(eww) and pretty much keeping their eyes closed but i did see bubbles. the sulfa med. did not help.
