Well I can't catch them. I've got an awful cold and they're just faster than I am. But I'll keep trying. Actually, I can't catch anyone at the moment. I think they've forgotten me. :(

Or maybe my sitter harassed them, and now they're shell shocked? She's a cat person and tends to treat everything like a cat... Maybe she tried to handle them and now they're spooked. Who knows.

I better go get ready I have to take my kitty in to get spade today and I hate to do it to her. :( I don't want kittens tho when so many need homes. I also don't want crazy Tom cats coming around. I'm also hoping it will mellow her out she can really get a wild hair lol. She can jump in mid air bite ya in the *** then run under the table to get ready for another sneak attack! Lol all in good fun.

aww, your kitty sounds like a darling. LOL I dont think the spay will help with the wild but i am happy its getting done. I wont have one inside or out unless it is fixed. I agree, too many hungry out there.

i have seen where my chickens will do for me and run from others. it upsets them just to have some one new around. Take care of yourself. colds are NASTY !!!! this last sick i had put me in the hospital for 3 days. it was like someone threw me in the snow and set me on fire at the same time. I dont ever want to go through that again.

All spaying did for my kitty was stop her heat cycles. ( thank God for that! ) 12 years later she is still excentric!. Sometimes when she is sitting in her sun spot taking her morning bath, she will suddenly jump up and take of running through the house like demons are chasing her. Of course the dogs have to get in on the fun to see if they can get her to run faster. The way the house is laid out, they can go high speed around and around in a big circle. After about 8 - 10 rounds she will park herself back in the sunspot and finish her bath. To make it even funnier, Sugar will clean the cat's ears for her! I wish I could get that on film one time. :)

lol that is cute. my new dog was raised with cats and i see her cleaning the other dog all the time. i dont think that is normal behavior. I lost the one cat and the other is too fat to run. i am sure he would go 20 lbs. the best he can do now is bow down like he is going to jump then change his mind and just flop down.

Looks like Hen #2 definitely has wet pox, now. :( We're supposed to have a ton of rain later today, so I think I'll put these two in the hospital (dog crate) on the porch so I can make sure they're eating/drinking and staying warm and dry.

oh geez, sorry. how about sending honey do out there to take care of them ? you scratched your finger nail. make sure you scrub that good.

Honey do don't do chickens. :/ The thumb injury was a few days ago, I just keep knocking it open. I scrubbed with soap and hot water when I came in. I didn't notice a smell until I opened Hen #2's mouth and saw the wet pox lesion, but it wasn't like a rotting meat smell. More like a wet feed smell. And it was just when I initially opened her mouth, not constant. With my cold my sniffer isn't very good, so I could be way off. Hen #2 I had to chase round and round the yard, so she's energetic, at least.

I reread about avian pox and will treat them with neosporin and iodine when I catch them for the hospital. And I guess I have to scrape that wet pox lesion off? Mouth stuff is the worst; I just about gag only thinking about it. I can't wiggle my kid's loose teeth either.
