I seen that too wishing, but i thought it was from being pooped on. You know, I see feathers in the coop but i never see my chickens looking like a molt. the most i have seen is the back from a rooster.

Most of mine do a gradual molt. You wouldn't even notice it's happening except for those extra feathers floating around. Now that they are older, more of them are having the hard molts. Looks like they exploded or something.

Some drunken doofus tried to drive across the Golden Gate bridge on the pedestrian walkway. Car is now stuck there, and they may have to take part of the bridge apart to remove it. And it wasn't even a tourist!!

Not a tourist ?

whats this world coming to?

Now that I've seen everything in the daylight, I could just cry. :hit The coop has been cleaned, I can tell, but they used pine straw instead of shavings. There's a big bag of shavings on the back porch, unopened. The yard was covered in moldy food scraps. The run was FILTHY and smelled awful. The feeders are all full of damp feed. Two of the sick girls have been sleeping underneath the roosts and are covered in poop. There's just a lot of work to be done. So I got in a cleaned a few things before the baby woke up. The pox appears to be all gone. And one of my baby pullets looks so much like a hen now! Here's a picture of her. My sick two are bad off and I don't even know what to do with them. Considering culling. :hit :hit
She is beautiful! I hope your sick ones get better soon. Sorry you had to come home to such a mess this is why I don't like to go anywhere.

It will definitely be a while before I leave for any length of time. Or without proper instruction... that's on me. I should've had the kids come over a few days early and just walk them through everything. Poor things.

I think they did a fine job overall. We had a few big storm systems move through while I was gone, which blew a few things around the yard, dropped lots of limbs and leaves, etc. It was raining yesterday, which could be why all the feed was wet. I was just a little overwhelmed seeing it all this morning.

Someone suggested to me that my hens might have Marek's. I'll have to keep reading about that, I guess.

Many things can look like Marek's, so don't dwell on that. Instead you should focus on keeping them warm, treating the probably respiratory infection and ridding them of external and internal parasites.
