umm, every 2-3 hours ?? I did it once. was hoping that would be enough. I dont know what he weighs, i can do that tomorrow but i can tell you its all bone. He tries to eat but misses. I gave him a can of cat food today and he wanted it but couldnt eat it. I tried putting in the beak but it was too wet. he did drink a little of the juice. that should be something. what did you feed yours ?

I tubed water with the sav-a-chick electrolytes mixed in. It was warmed. I had bowls of wet mash, canned salmon with feed on top, eggs and scratch, things like that. Once she was hydrated her appetite returned and she ate everything in sight.

well du, you just said you were dusting in the am. I remember half of what i read. LOL you only tubed the water and electrolytes though?

campingshaws, you gonna get lice in the house. did u dust her? you cant control the weather no more then me. flooded is flooded. at least you have sand. and btw, lice like to live in that stuff. de is no good. get some sevin dust and go at em !

I've got the sevin, now I just need some dry weather. I've got her in the shower, that fiberglass kind with a glass door, so I can just bleach it down tomorrow. I've put all the laundry in the wash so I think I'll be fine. I only found two or three still crawling.

Ugh. Talking about it makes me itch.

Right. Kathy (casportpony) said to start with fluids because tubing food when she was dehydrated could kill her. Is your roo drinking at all? Mine was off everything.

Oops did not know that about tube feeding, better store that info somewhere I will remember. Certainly not in my head, forget everything :(

yup, completely off . its the eye sight, pecking at air. I dont want to bring it in. I have babies in the house. forgot the higher heat lamp so havent moved them. if your itching why dont you go jump in the shower ?
