I'm in Roseburg about three hours from Portland, not sure what's coming put one went thru last night.

Its a coming ! lol red sky tell the tale. I have never been there ol grey mare. Had to look up where it was on the map. LOL I am still after all these yrs. trying to figure out up there from down here.

LOL - we have been out here in Indiana since 2003 and I still have no idea where half of the local areas are. People will start talking about - out towards such-n-such town and I just give them this blank look..........I finally have most of Jefferson, Jennings and Scott counties figured out, but only because those are the three counties served by my work and it's just what I've absorbed through the years.

I actually have some good news for a change ( and a few new gray hairs ) I am to meet my 18 month old grandson for the first time ever ! my household will increase by 8 for a few weeks. I am in desperate need of any calgon that you can possibly spare. asap. they are supposed to leave NC tomorrow and get here late in the day/night. Kristofer age 15, konner age 8, keller age 6, kayden age 5, Kegan age 3, and kolten 18 months.

was out looking at the chickens and wondering why or how I ended up with that pr. of Egyptian Fayomas . the tail on the rooster aint right. its short and ragged looking . It must have a genetic fault. and they are, well, there just butt ugly. I seen my pet chicken ad on here and thought i would see what they are pushing this yr. beautiful pics. by the way, and there he is ! theirs are just as ugly as mine. why did i get,keep, have these chickens? found out pretty quick. they are resistant to mereks. supposed to be good foragers, flyers, blaa,blaa,blaa. I am not 100% sure the hen is fayoma. except for a nice tail they look exactly a like and the comb of course. I suspect she might be hen to the phoenix. I remember i had one of them die and i had one hen for each roo. no eggs yet either and it says fayomas mature fast. 4-5 months for eggs. I think she is this early spring putting her around 9-10 months. I also found a serama egg with my pair today. I just kept walking. LOL

Yep that would probably be best. Otherwise it's too heartbreaking & like you said way too expensive. I've been where you are at with thinking I could earn a income from breeding birds our selling hatching eggs. I know it's a pipe dream. I don't have the space or funds to even get into that. I think I would just rather go sit out in the middle of my barnyard mutts and have a enjoyable time watching their antics and drinking coffee.

this so makes me long for spring !! and now robins.
