Twisted, the one on the left in the picture definately does look like my rooster. My guy is a darker russet on the head and shoulders but the wings and other coloring looks the same. My rooster does have a couple of black flecks in his tail and 1 black tail feather which doesn't really show in the photo I posted, his legs are a yellow/white. His comb & wattles are very heavy, I sometimes wonder how he is able to eat without them getting in his way. Thanks so much! I have always been curious about what he might be. I had his "brother" as well but re-homed him, 2 roosters is 1 too many for my current small flock. His brother looked very similar to him.

I did post him under the "What's my breed?" section--be curious to see what other folks think. Thanks again!!

brown hamburger with onions and seasoning drain excess grease put in bottom of baking dish, open and pour creamed corn over then cover with mashed taters(left over are fine) bake until taters start to brown then sprinkle grated cheese on top return to over and bake until brown and bubbly.. At least that is how I make it. mushrooms and peppers are good in the meat also. OR use up left over roast and grind or dice it fine instead of hamburger.

she says they are 2 weeks. any way to tell sex?

there is but I think you have to do it on day olds either feather or vent sexing. They must be good/easy to tell as I got nothing but pullets in the bunch I ordered last year. They all have the same general coloration but the lacing will vary so you flock is not humdrum/blah to look at. Active forgers .
