OK everyone, I need your advice again. Yesterday it was mentioned to use Safeguard goat wormer for my birds. What I need to know before I go to TSC to get some today is it liquid, paste or other? What is the correct dosage for LF birds? How is it administered? How long do you dose and how long on egg withdrawal? I don't want to get the wrong stuff or use it wrong. Thank for your help in advance.

manychitlins, any egg will burst. did that myself this tr. found a nest with an old egg in it and i wanted to get a better look. I got it ! hahaa      Campingshaws, have you tried the scented dryer sheets in your pockets or down your socks?  I havent yet but was planning on it .

That's what I figured. I'll be super careful when I dislodge the nest! Lol

I have used dryer sheets for mosquitoes and it actually works pretty well! I've only used regular bounce sheets, never tried other brands. I kind of rub them on my legs and then stick one in my pocket. And I wear a jacket if possible. Those little bloodsuckers love me.

Chickenlady, I will be thinking of you and your flock!

Busy day today (as usual when juggling schedules for 6 people, lol). Have to run into the little express care clinic to get an antibiotic for the sinus infection I've had for a week or so since it isn't going away. Then I have a doctors appt at noon (annual ob visit, of course she won't give me a script for the sinus infection so I have to see two separate doctors in one day), then Costco, Trader Joe's, pick up a couple of scripts for my dog that has apparently developed an allergy to something, pick up the boys at school, then normal after school stuff until bedtime. DH is off today but is helping out at my parents' church putting baseboards in a bathroom. Hummingbird is still in the nest, but trying it's darndest to fly out after mama, haha. :) Hope everyone has a great day!

I have 4 things. 2 / 125 watt heat lights and 2/ 250 watt. its a 6 outlet thing i wish i had picture. plugged into the main, it has its own trip switch . that is what keeps tripping
Sounds to me like you've got to many things on that line and it's getting over loaded.

Here if the hair dryer is on and the microwave the circuit trips. You might want to see what else is on that line. Leave the heat lights off then turn everything else on. Then go down and turn off the circuit and see what is off.

That will tell you everything that is on that line. Unplug anything you don't need or move it to another line.

Be sure to mark you breakers.

I put a new 6 outlet in line last night and it is holding. I plugged one more, the last one in this morning just to see if it will blow being back to where it was. so far it hasnt. Lisa, if you go to the search bar and put the wormer in there. you should see a picture of what you need along with the directions. I dont want to tell you wrong. Dawg is our worming expert.

Hummers will hatch more than once in the same season and reuse their nest. Don't blame you if you're tired of a poopy wall, but if you leave it up you might get to see some more babies.

I've got some little fart eggs that I left on the counter and they seem to have dried out. Never did smell. Maybe no yolks inside?

found a dead chick outside in my fenced back yard. No idea where it came from. It was fresh dead. I went to the serama thread and someone one there just found one walking in her house. I am a little freaked.
