I had a chick like that once. It lived in the bathroom for six weeks, and it was like a human baby: if it got quiet, we all tiptoed around and whispered. When it finally got enough feathers to go out, something pulled it through the wires of the kennel. Only a wing was left. :hit

I've got a home for my little mixed breed babies, but I'm just not ready to part with them yet. And I'm pretty sure they're all roos. One definitely is. Legs like tree trunks, twice as big as everyone else, big comb. Always jumping onto or chest bumping the other chicks. It's funny, and disappointing. :/

Check out the veins in this egg! I don't think I've ever seen veins like this in my own eggs. It's the end of Day 12; I was turning the top layer and took a quick peek at a few. Looking much better this time. I'll candle Sunday night and mark air cells again. I don't think I'll rotate them again.

looks like a stained/leaded glass window way cool. Is it normal?? If they aren't your eggs whose are they in your incubator?? Donner moms??? LOL sorry to much SVU on netflicks lately.

A lot of dinosaur blood in that one! Either that or you're hatching Super Chicken! (a very silly, much beloved cartoon from my childhood, eons ago).
 
that is cute wishing. I dont remember that . Must not be that old. hahahaa Camping , I have candled a few. Never seen one with veins like that either.
