Oh no granny, are they moving back in with you then? Really sorry to hear that. You've all had more than your share of troublesmy computer is a mess. 2 hrs to get on here. suzierd, wow ! I hope she gets ok. thats a lot for both of you to go through. Lisa, had grandkids too. way too much and the good news is they have lost the trailer they are living in. They held court 15 min. earlier then they said so they got there just as landlord was leaving . he gave them 2 days or their stuff will be set out. SIL appealed , judge called landlord and asked for 5 days. LL said no so judge overruled him and gave them til saturday. they had rent money in hand . Thank you for the info Watermellon . I still think someone is doing this to raise the price of chicken . Of course , i am naturally paranoid anyway.
Yep, I've got the illness too. Hubby started to count when he got home tonight. My hatch had just finished this afternoon adding another 25 to the allusive number. I told him "oh no ~ we don't count chickens around here" lol.And i forgot about the babys i have hid in the serama coop that is not serama. and i dont know how many are in there. the 2 silver laced polish, probably about 8 more .this is why i dont count. Now i think theres something wrong with me. OCD gone wild ! Any one else feel like they have way too many ?
The sussex hen is still honking and panting. I just checked on them. It's warm and humid, but I could hear her well before I got to the coop. I may try to move her inside tomorrow, and see if I can find anything in her throat. I could give her a little Tylan, too, in case it's something respiratory. Is there an egg withdrawal for tylan? I can't remember.
I'll probably post the video in a new thread tomorrow. I'm pretty sure I had a different hen do this several months ago, but I can't remember if I treated her or if she just got over it? And I think it was just the honking, not the panting.
