what a day ! I kept the kids, 5 of them all day and when mama got home i told her i am sorry, trying to help but i just cant do it. they were monsters all day. Also babysitting friends dog. little jack russel. it is just as bad. escape artist, Frosty is very upset that she has her spot. (my lap) . so 8 people ,3 dogs and 3 cats for me today. add the missing ones today and i have 11 people in here. Did i mention they have a cat too ?

the baby chick is not improving. i do hope it can get on with one leg when it is grown. it hops now. GS found one of my baby bantams out of the run today. said the wire was pulled away from the coop. he caught it with the net and HOPE he fixed the wire. I was unable to go outside today because of the pain. @Twisted, those fans are for moisture not stink right? At least mine dont pull the stank out. Heavy duty doody ?

Well... *I* don't... DH on the other hand... hahaha, luckily I picked a good man and he's fit and built for manual labor. He considers it a workout since he works such long, weird hours at his job and doesn't ever get to work out anymore. I did however haul 7 cu yards of compost a few weeks ago. I definitely need to start yoga back up again or something, lol! I am seriously out of shape.
How exciting! Where did you get the eggs? Are they grocery store eggs? I refuse to get an incubator because I would be hatching chicks non stop. I'm sure my city wouldn't appreciate that since we have a 3 hen rule. LOL
Yay for bestie time! I don't really have close friends where I live, even though we've lived here a long time. I got lucky and a great couple our age moved in next door to us, so the wife and I hang out and have a few margaritas when we can, and we all hang out together with our families a lot. Not too often these days sadly, she's doing an intensive school thing to get another degree, and she's a nurse, so we haven't been able to hang much. I love girl time.

I also chopped off about 15 inches a few months ago!! It was fabulous. Take before and after pictures!!
Oye, I didn't know that!! I tend to grow my hair out and then chop it all at once, and then I DO donate to Locks of Love. I will donate to ACS from now on. Thanks for sharing that!!

Campiing  not gray call it uber blonde.

Spent most of the afternoon crawling around in attics  hooking up bathroom fans   aka fart fans.   Very hot up there.   Chicks are getting feathers already 2 weeks old.  Got a jumbo egg from one of my EE's who is not a year old yet.  That's it for me for now.   Sweet dream and warm fuzzies all.  

Sorry twisted, doesn't sound like any fun to me.

Wow granny, all five young ones. No wonder your exhausted, I have a hard time just taking care of the 2 grandkids I've got & another due in July. Ages grandkids will be in July will be 13 yrs, 19 months and new baby. When the kiddos come to our house we have them overnight for a couple days because they live a distance away. I am always whooped by the time they go home.

Is the family moved back in then granny? If so why were you having to babysit? Where was SIL?

Yes, they are back. cant walk through the house . they have a lot of things now. beds, ect... He was working , oldest was working and mom was at work. People actually like him coming to their house for the tattoo. He will go a day in advance and see if they have a good spot for him then instruct them on how to sterilize the area. good thing its not done here. hahaa he has 3 more tonight.

I so tired !!!!! Dad watched them today. now he is off to work and eldest is watching. mom still at work. Dont matter . I might as well be watching them. I still here all the screaming. they are so loud. A stranger made me cry today. I used to never cry. now it comes easy and i dont like it. I went to a couple yard sales with DD before she left for work. I had 7 whole dollars to my name. LOL anyway, I seen a Norman Rockwell plate and memories started flooding in. The woman says its $10. but i will take 8. I said oh, I was just walking down memory lane . My mom used to have 4 of them hanging in the kitchen growing up. I would stand there for hrs. wondering what those people were doing. I can really afford that but thank you. I made my way to the car, got in and she came running to the car and handed the plate to me. She said , here , for your memories. I cried for the next 4 yard sales and wouldnt put it down.

Aww that was so sweet of her. You cry so easy now because your missing your mom, your in lots of pain everyday and now all the extra craziness in the house is making you physically exhausted & ill, but because they have no where else to go & because you love them you are letting them stay even though you know that that isn't what's best for you, your son & hubby. You are feeling overwhelmed & feeling guilty for having those kind of thoughts. God bless you granny, you sure have some pretty big shoes to fill. I can't even image having that kind of commotion going on in my home. I would do it in a minute if I was in your shoes, but my nerves are so sensitive to noises ~ I would be a wreck. You would probably find me in my closets in a puddle of tears. I'm saying prayers for all of you granny girl. Stay strong hun, hopefully they will get their check soon where they can get the place with the shop & housing.
