Lol twisted, my lady's are very trimlined, not the fat and sassy gals. I just have tons of Juvies that are eating feed like a house afire. Sad, made a stupid decision to try my girls out free ranging again after Sundays predator attack. Not a smart choice, whatever it is, is attacking in broad daylight & carries the prey away. Just a pile of feathers remain. It has to be fox or Coyote. It has the edge of the woods to lay in wait for one of the hens to go out there. Darn thing got another one of my good layers

Yep, sounds just like when our neighborhood had a fox problem. I am now the only chicken owner in our neighborhood. The foxes took one or two every day until no one had any chickens left. I can't free range mine at all.

Been rather absent - between DD's recover and DS starting school (my "baby" is in high school!) and just life in general there are simply not enough hours in the day -- but I'm still alive and kicking and sure do miss you all. 

Hi! Ol' Mare! Life does have a way of doing that.

I will appear to be missing in action also. My hours at work have changed to 4am to 1 pm. These hours are going to change everything in my life....... So, I will only be getting on line mostly on my days off..... I can hardly wait to catch up on 10 pages of all of you guys posts.

I hated working nights. It was horrible. I'd come home in the morning ready to crash into bed. Just about the time I'd get comfy the next door neighbor would fire up his mower & go at it for most of the day. First he mowed it in one direction & then went over it all again the other way. Grrrr.

Some people can just drop off & nothing bothers them. Are you one of those fortunate folks?

newfie, I have seen lawns with some pretty criss- crossed patterns in them after they mow. Is that how they do it by mowing twice ? I can barely get the weeds knocked down .

Haha, no. My 3yo. He's doing really well! Undies all day, even traveling, but not sleeping yet. Still pull-ups for naps and night.

Yep, birthday was the 27th. Turned 31. I've got over a decade on most of the kids who worked for us this year. It's getting difficult to be relatable. :/

you ever try melatonin  ?  and no chocolate or coffee an hr. or more before bed. Chocolate gives me some of the weirdest dreams. 

I can take Melatonin for two nights, the third night I will have horrible nightmares- lots of car wrecks, shooting and blood everywhere! I can figure out why, I don't watch that kind of stuff on the tube.....

Camping, I was worried. hahaaaa My boy was 4 when he was potty trained and my girl was one. That did not surprise me one bit. hehee I have to go out today . not looking forward to it. its hot and muggy. Husband will get warm i guess. I hope. I need a new car . I wanted to trade my van and the car for a better van. Problem is, I dont know what better is. I know mine runs and the car is in great shape just no air and very hard for me to get in and out of.

He didn't make a pattern. He just kep shaving it. After mowing came weed weed wackeing & then the lawn blower. All day as soon as the grass got over a half inch tall. Or when my grass was shorter than his. Lol

You mow & then lower the mower deck & make the stripes. PINTA I hate mowing. I haven't had grass for years. All gardens, edible permanent stuff, scavenged brick paths & coop area.
