It's 1.40 in the afternoon now here for me and I have finally got my grass cut With all this wet weather it's been a nightmare to get it done when it's dry enough. Just as I got the mower and things put away the heavens opened again!! It's just non stop at the movement with the showers. Nice when the sun is out though so the grass is growing like crazy. It all seems a vicious circle with it.

Newfie, how do you manage to go back to bed? Once I'm awake I'm awake, would love to be able to get up and let the birds out and go back to bed for a bit but I would just not be able to drop back off, I know it.

8:10 for me. No coffee yet. I did get up this morning to shower, and I even washed my hair!! 64 degrees, same as yesterday. Don't think we've seen that low since March, maybe April.

7 mugs ? LOL I am still on the first. It dont taste good today. I think its the water. our softener is not working right , standing in water and I cant even find how to turn the thing off. Sometimes our water smells like sewage. I have a septic tank and city water. well, If thats what you want to call it. We have water tanks , One for each little burg.

Ours is on mains water system so you have to pay the water company. About £800 per year for us here. Depends on where you live to how much you pay.


I got an iPhone yesterday with internet that actually works, so can do BYC while on the move
What do folks make of the mobile version of BYC? I've found it hard work compared to the desktop version that I use on iPad. Anyone got any tips? Desktop on phone is really small and squashed in. But you can do lots more and it shows lots more on desktop.
