Thank you to all of you for your thoughts . I am hoping to get one polish for a gift and they are too expensive for me. I am still very much up in the air about the dog. She would probably just end up in the house as a lap dog. I know my star is getting up in years . Something is missing from my life to need so much. I am trying to replace it and dont even know what it is.

shoot twist, the $200 I owe my DD will be paid in 3 more days. the dog is free except for food and such. As far as the chicken, just talked to step and sil, they will be buying me one ! that is what i have told the lady. I can take one unless she would be interested in trade of seramas. dogs do eat more then cats and I wouldnt want to have one I cant feed. Its a bit scary thought. On the other hand, wonder if It would eat my spaghetti ?

I made something a while back, dont remember what but even the chickens wouldnt eat it. Honestly, I cant afford her. what if an emergency pops up and I dont have vet money ? I think about that with the one inside. To tell the truth, I am afraid. When Old mare comes on maybe she can tell you about how the crime is going in madison and around here. Would a dog save us ? Probably not. but will it give me piece of mind or more worries ? That i dont know. It will be going to the pound if no one wants it. they hold them here for 3 days.

granny if you want that dog and it's free take it..it's your decision..and the way i see it you only live once ..get what you want

I came back home, sat in the chair, fell asleep, woke up went to bed slept until almost 9am. So, I plan to make a post, go do a little something around the house, post something, go do something around the house, repeat over and over until about 7pm..... Then go to bed......

Grrrr. DH closed the sliding glass door on the porch with some of the chickens on the outside. The ameraucana pullet was crouched right there looking in. A silkie hen was roosting under the picnic table. I looked up and down and couldn't find the barred rock pullet. It doesn't help that I'm nearsighted & the yard light is burned out. I hope she's ok out there because it's supposed to rain tonight.

its not showing double post here. I did read a post yesterday about windows 10 and its really messing with her things on here.

Danna, I like your way of thinking ! hahaaa I have never had outside dog and I actually am thinking of in of the day and out at night. I dont know how those things work. It wont be ignored This i do know. Kinda stupid to have a dog you dont spend time with.

Back looks like Beth gets to keep her toe or at least what is still there. No odor to speak of, nice pink flesh showing, New bandage and back on Friday which is 1 day latter then before.

So Beth's hind foot with all the bandaging look like a turkey drumstick. She has been real good about not messing with the bandaging. Last night she had an itch and almost beat herself senseless with her bandaged foot, I almost fell off the couch laughing so hard, sounded like someone was beating a drum. Me thinks her head is hallow hense the drum like sound.
