she is doing better. played with frosty some. She dont pay attention to the chickens one way or the other. I dont know what that means. No babies yet. I got their cage ready. all is done except for them getting busy the dog walked through the bedroom door today by herself and I found her this morning sleeping in my bedroom chair . Its a real pretty chair flowers on it wing back. Since i dont have a bed for her I covered it with a towel.

Twist, I like that for your avatar. It explains your name. I am, however, a little disappointed in your suggestions for names for granny's new dog. I was expecting 27 names all strung together, something like Granny's Darling Regal Princess Couchpotato Blah-blah On-and-on. Instead you name the dog after yourself!

That's great news, especially her coming in your room. You keep feeding her and she'll be devoted! You two have a lot in common you know, neither of you like the kitchen!

Do chickens have memory ? sure they do but, is it like mine or yours ? LOL You decide. I have a mottled bantam that was sitting and if you guys remember i was getting chicks from them 1-2 at a time . I pulled them as they hatched. She was one of the 2 whos nest was destroyed yesterday. Today, I took some of those old chicks out there . they are half grown and do belong to her. I had 3 in my hands and I started to dip them and set them down she came at me. She looked like a miniature turkey with the feathers all spread out. she drew blood in one spot and bruised in 2 more before i could set them down then she very politely took these chicks that are just a bit bigger then her and took off with them.

that didnt slip by me. hahaaa we both like stuffing ourself too. I dont know how much she should eat. she is getting 3 coffee cups now and I know she wants more. Thinking she is about 50lbs.
