when I was dating my first husband my sister talked into asking him if he was bi- I had no idea what it even meant but she said she would give me a dollar. So I did. he didnt talk to me for 6 months. LOL How was I to know I hit too close to home ?
 
Lots of exciting stuff going on for me. new dog, new chicks, polish on the way, cookies and milk.
Lily pooped outside today. Husband said she peed in the house . As it is right next to his chair I feel he is telling stories . He spilled something and is blaming the dog. I cut frosty today and gave her a bath hoping my hair cut would some how magically fix itself in the shower. It didnt. And of course son says she looks better.
Only one more chick has hatched. still no white eggs and today I found the candy corn polish dead in the laying box. I had 2 of them so still have one but hope is getting even slimmer of having more now. The eggs were good at lock down.
It finally just rained ! (because SIL is bringing his weed whip) But much needed.

This is the one still living. I didnt have a picture of the other one. She was smaller but looked the same. I didnt know her age and bought her from bad conditions. I had her for about 3 yrs. Im guessing.
 
Ol mare, there is a swap in milton KY. tomorrow. at the fairgrounds I think? Its just across the bridge there. No chickens but i bet its a good one.

Also I shared a video on facebook. I dont know how to do it here but its a new one of twin chicks hatching. Its pretty neat ! One white and one black.

Chicken lady, I too put off having things done as I'm not keen on going plus they whop the price up you. I'm not sure how it works for you all over the pond. Here we have to pay national insurance out of wages each month or week. The government take it straight off you, then your health care is free apart from prescriptions. Dental is subsidised but you still have to pay so much. Private dental over here is an absolute fortune :th But if you go private you can get seen straight away, NHS is a waiting list a mile long.

Sorry you guys have to be on the long lists to be seen by a doctor or specialist. Our current president is trying to mimic health care practices like you experience across the pond. After having private insurance for a number of years I definitely don't like seeing the new trend. Just like the stuff going on with my back. There are certain things that can be done that give me some relief, but because we have new insurance this year. They required me to start out at square one again. So the concept of saving employers some money on insurance premiums ended up costing me a lot of extra money for unnecessary test & tier treatments that have to be done first before I can have the treatment that I have gotten before that gave me greater relief & for a longer time. Now that I've had all that stuff done, I now can't afford to move forward with the treatment that helps the most. I don't know who's getting rich off of these insurance scams, but its a crying shame that we as consumers are experiencing unnecessary pain because of it. Grrr.... better get off my soap box, health care & insurance gets my blood boiling, sorry
