grannys gone and done it

Glad you did good granny! I'm also wondering what you came home with. I know you had to find something. I had a great day. Finally caught up with this whole tread. Found out that there's quiet a few nuts on here. Think I'm right where I'm supposed to be lol.
 
You guys would have been so proud of Granny - she was tempted a few times, but unless she snuck out and grabbed something at the last minute (like a certain little Wyandotte bantam??? He was awfully nice to look at) she went home without a single bird in her car!
I was pleasantly surprised with some of the birds I saw from one particular family -- they had some awfully nice looking bantams (cochins, sebrights and d'anvers) and they all came from Cackle, I wouldn't have pegged them for hatchery birds at all. I have a soft spot for cochins, so I was REALLY REALLY tempted, but DS hasn't decided whether or not he's going to do poultry 4-H next year and I don't really have a "use" for them in the flock otherwise so I managed to keep myself talked out of them......besides, I'm holding out for Granny to get her Polish up and running......

Ol mare, granny hasn't said anything in the last hour. She may have snuck a few by you when you weren't looking lol. This is granny we're talking about you know?
