cant tell all twist but i will word it in a way you will understand. was living with a man. DD was four. he was drugging me in some cheese sauce he made. he took my cloths off and put mice on me besides other things he did. he tried to molest my DD. I woke up with them things crawling all over me . I left in shock. went to moms house. my step-father got the gun and left . I never seen or heard from him again. and that is the reason I never dated again til she was 15 yrs old.

So here is a pic of the future Miss Hatchet if porter's test come back negative.

You can see in the short horn which is the one she knocked off in the head catch gate. The vet is give her a antibiotic shot. and the horn bud is un damaged.

DH and I were painting the house. There was a little bat hanging upside down under a shingle on the side. DH was nailing the shingles down that were loose. Kids came in and told me. I told him he better not mash my bat!

We caught it in a crisco can and put it in an aquarium with a stick to hang on. Had to look it up in the encyclopedia back then. It was a little brown bat. I think it was cute.

Took it to school for show and tell the next day and turned it loose and we all watched it fly away.

Oh boy- I think I have something like 9 breeds? The list is actually in my signature. It's my first year and I got a bit carried away...

@rIrs roost - I am so sorry, my condolences to you and your family.
@granny hatchet - best solution for all involved, especially the owl, woudl be to contact the folks at the Hardy Lake center and have the owl taken into their care. They are wonderful with the birds and have the knowledge and experience to provide what he/she truly needs.

oh boy ! Grannys gone and done it !!! Big time !

dr. gave me 2 different antibiotics, pain pills, b12 shot . told me to stop the one diabetes meds.(already did) and making appt. for 2 specialists. one for blockages in my legs and one for foot. they will be in the city. not around here.
ok heres the funny thing. wish i could do pictures ! I have a bird calico in color, the size of my fist, one eye and cant fly.

It is in my bedroom. it eats chicken gizzards . its 2-3 yrs. old . makes sounds like a dove or clicking. it was a rescue . I was told it is a screech owl ! tons of research to do. hahaa

i didnt know owls were calico color,,hope the pain meds, b12 and antibotics make you feel better..good too about seeing a specialist
