I didn't have a good buff Orpington, she was hatchery stock & disliked her immensely. Got rid of her this summer.

How do you breed a bird to only end up with a 1/4 of one breed & 3/4 of another. Wouldn't it be 50/50. Sorry if this is a dumb question, I know nothing of breeding & genetics.

Oh I bet you will get something very pretty from that mix. I have a large Swedish flower roo that has barring . he looks so different from my other 3 Swedish flower roos hatched at the same time.
