We gave a small whiffle ball to a parakeet as a toy. It quickly became his true love, and the ball was caked with the evidence. Grossed the boys out so much I had to take his toy away. Poor bird.

I think I have nice eggs. I think I feed my hens well. I posted yesterday on our community FB page, dz lg fresh eggs, $4. (they're 6+ at the store) The VERY FIRST reply was "what do you feed them? Are they free range? organic? Non GMO?"

Well THANK THE HECK OUT OF YOU! Now, everyone else that reads the ad thinks the eggs are inferior! GRRR! Here was my reply to her " Well, I didn't trace the fruits and veggies or alfalfa back to their genetic origins, so I can't say that it is. They're just very good natural eggs from very happy healthy chickens on a very healthy fresh diet free from pesticides, antibiotics or hormones".
Out here, we have Vegan Vigilanties. Trashed my post intentionally! I'm so mad I could bite myself. $4. for these eggs when they're $5. for crap eggs at the store?

I don't remember. Maybe like 18-20. Not all my large eggs are very big.

Think they would have to be fertile to get that price. Mo tries, but nothing.
