I'm going to be a party pooper tonight, really tired after all the fresh air today & I have to be up early tomorrow morning. I have 40+ birds to worm & its easiest to take them out of the coop 1 at a time, worm them then release into the run. Was suppose to do it today while hubby was off, but that was before we found the roof leak. Good night everyone, sweet dreams & restful sleep

On the way back from picking #2son up at school this afternoon, we stopped to take some pictures of a rainbow! It was prettier than the pics show, we were using my cell phone. About 4:45 and the sun was setting behind us. I grew up in the foothills of the mountain off to the right. Most of it is out of the picture. My dad still lives there.

That's so true mutt. When I think of California, I think of lots of people and gigantic buildings. But this sure is beautiful country!

CL, you posted that breathtaking picture of the sunset and the lake when we were talking about rain and drought and stuff. It's just awful here. When Wishing and Pro and get all nuts about a little rain, it's hard for folks to imagine how bad it actually is and why we go nutso grateful we are for a few drops. It's like food for the starving. Here's a picture of what used to be a lake. What you see are hundreds of boat docks on dry land. Mother Nature will provide for us this year.
