I'm re-arranging my kitchen and making chicken and dumplings. The weather has finally turned cold here for a day or so. So yummys for the tummy!
Ah, yes, cool weather -- love it when it arrives and brings all those cold weather foods with it. Made a lovely pot of beef stew and homemade yeast rolls today!

I'd love to have a tub like that. It'd make a great brooder

Yep, it's me - when we bought the house the garden tub was the one feature I thought I liked most -- in the years we have lived here I think I have bathed in it five times.....but it does make a fabulous brooder for smaller batches of chicks, DH even built me custom "lid" for it.

I went to DDs today and came home with a trio of muscovies. I am giving her the golden cascades. I like them but one of the girls has this really loud HA HA HA. It sounds like Burgess Meredith laughing as Penguin on the old Batman show. We laugh when she does it but she is really loud. The other 2 are quiet. So are the runners.
Congrats on the new additions

well, Congratulations ! umm, I sound so stupid. Im sorry. what are you going to do with it ? is that what you use to mix bread ? Is yours that color ?
You do EVERYTHING with them -- there is no end to the different attachments you can get for them from ice cream maker, pasta maker, sausage stuffer, meat grinder, slicer/grater/spiralizer --- oh, and you can mix stuff with it too, lol. My pretty little "berry" colored kitchen aid is my favorite kitchen toy -- can't bring myself to put it in a cupboard because it's just too pretty to hide....

Little green arrow right after your name.

I have a pretty Kitchenaid too! Lay away at J.C.Penneys YEARS ago. I drooled over it for months and waited for a sale. I too keep mine on the counter, dusted, to throw off my friends! They think I still use it!

I have a powder pink one that sits on the counter. It's the most expensive (non Christmas) gift DH has ever given me. Even more than my engagement ring! :lau AND we caught it on sale for less than $200. I rarely use it because it's too pretty.
