OH  ok  I have a desk in the lobby for the quests to use, plus the counter/desk that you check in on.  Other wise the entire house is pretty much mine and mine alone.  My main desk with all the books on it is in the back room,  we call it the LOD.  library office den.  Its about a 60 to 75 ft trip from my back desk tot he "front desk"   I have tried a pedometer for a couple weeks   average distance was over  a mile a day and that was when I wasn't doing much and the motel wasn't very busy. 

That's a lot of walking! I ask because I'm curious...If someone surprised you by cleaning off your desk, put all your books and stuff away, moved the phone and the stapler...would you like that?

He's severely OCD, it would be clean already

If you do vent a little area up there Red, do it over the area where the run is not right where they're sleeping.

de-icers??? did I miss something again

I posted a while ago that I'd ordered what were supposed to be pond heaters. What I got were tank de-icers that only turn on when it's freezing. I asked if anyone needed them and Newfie did! They've been sittin in the garage for 2 years.

Gosh I've been craving No bake cookies tonight. Wonder if I will make it thru the night without making them. Then cuz I'm here alone, I can eat them all myself ha ha.

I say go for it after all you got frozen taking care of chickens and chocolate should help warm you up. ( see I can be an enabler when I want)

nothing yet !! hahaaa my wind is so very strong here. I was freezing out there today. I put insulation up in one of the runs last year. I have used tarps too but they dont last long. Wondering if I got some cheep chip board how long it would last screwed to the run. just a wind block. til warmer weather comes back. would it even be worth it as I still have to wrangle the hose and they do have the coop to go to.

NOPE and I do have places on the farm to hide the body. I try to keep a clean work space well other then the dust.

OMG! I knew it! I'm the same way! OCD! I hate it for someone to touch my workspace! Phone on the left, stapler to the left of the phone, on and on. I'm a "stacker" but know exactly what is in each stack.

ya, Im just going to make them go in there . put something little over the door. chickens are supposed to be fun ! I work 2 hard with them I think when I dont need to.
