Oh, wow - you crazy lady, what are you doing out in this madness?  I am still trying to decide if I even want to go out tomorrow - I never do the line up to be in the door at 4 (or even 6) a.m., but sometimes go in time to catch the tail end of the good deals.  The liner-uppers are just too crazy for me.  My only saving grace is I'm never out to get "the" big items, so I can avoid that insanity and have a good time watching those that are.....there are a few "side items" that are going to be at a good price tomorrow that are tempting me.  It also helps that most of my usual stores are not the ones that get to crazy - TSC, RK, Orschelns ---- the crowds there tend to be pretty tame, lol

DH is super competitive, so he LOVES this sort of thing. I don't mind it either. It's really fun and interesting. There are lots of families out. It's heart warming.

Wrong knife

serrated ? big knife . I dont know the difference in them . I need some good knifes. I tried 2 but I guess they were both the same.

Did you let the turkey sit for 20-30 minutes to rest before you cut it?

I mash the potatoes and make the gravy and noodles while it rests. It keeps the moisture in the meat.

Turkey goes on the table last.

it sat for at least an hr. while the beans and sweet potatoes cooked

We use a TV knife to cut it. Stays sharp.
