I've not had a go with the rifle, I'm just the driver. I've had a go at the clays though with the shot gun which was interesting to say least!! Did not hit a thing

I'm picturing you and your other half on horse back wearing riding clothes and funny hats following dogs chasing a fox like in the Disney movie.

Doing fine. Gotta lot of chores to do but that's it. Same ol same ol.
Ya me too, few more minutes of lazyness then I've gotta get my bun in gear. Drinking coffee, on BYC & watching hen cam of my broody momma. Its day 19 for her. I hope I haven't messed her up though. Probably should have put the camera up sooner. I think my removing the nesting box curtain so I could see something on the camera might be bothering her too much. Will just have to see. To my knowledge I have never had a broody get off her eggs on day 19. Opened the Silkie coop this morning & heard a thump hit the outer wall. Somehow she managed to fly over the child gate that I have on the poop board to keep babies from falling over the edge to the coop floor. May have to put the curtain back up, will see how she does.

That was exactly my reaction lol

I needed a pair of night vision goggles when I was trying to get a coyote that was stalking my dd dog. Sitting in total darkness watching & waiting until you can just make out a shape or movement. Dd would ready the flashlight & me the gun & in a split second try to get a decent shot at the coyote grr... Never worked well :gig

I shall report the findings later if it's not too late. Sounds just like foxing over here, with the lamp getting ready for a shot and the bleep bleep thing running off :barnie

Normally my broodys hatch on day 19 & 20. That's why I was shocked that she went flying off the nest when I opened the coop door.
