Have you tried gently tugging that leg to see if it is a slipped tendon that might pop in. Never had one, so just guessing here. Really sad that you beautiful boy hurt himself.

I moved the whole leg very slightly and it hurt him.
I'm sure it does, but probably like when a person dislocates the shoulder, elbow or knee. Until it is back in place it is painful & very painful to put back in place.

Hog do stink, but nothing should be left in the pen for them to tear up.
M
Feed them in a feed pan and remove when done.

The ramp was not lose. It was connected to a 2X8 to anchor it down. Somehow she got it lose and did all the damage to our yard and driveway. She a actually moved the entire house a couple of feet and just walked right out! There is nothing as cute as a dozen little piggies playing on grass.

Granny go to the dollar store & buy a cheap frame. It would be much easier to used a pre-cut piece of glass then trying to cut plexi glass yourself.
I think they have cut pieces of plexi at lowes too

Sally you shared some beautiful chick pics. How do you get them to stand still lol.
I put them on something cold and they are froze in place or perched on something they are afraid to fall off of

I think its the knee joint but I can give it a try tomorrow. Yes, as far as I could tell he fell or jumped from the rafters.

I bought a large sheet of plexi at a yard sale for a dollar. Thats how all this started. Im not working on it til I get better.

I would just very gently pull out on his injured leg, maybe it is a slipped tendon & it will pop back in. Can Tom help you? If you could wrap him in a towel so he can't flap his wings & you covered his eye. If Tom could hold him under his arm with his feet sticking out towards you it would help.

She superglued their little feetsies to the board!
