I know you haven't hun, just pulling your leg
which will be perfect Im sure . Did I answer your question ? YES IN A NICE WAY
Lisa, I never tried it either and dont want to. Just from what I have heard. SURE![]()
I'm still have the same dilemma with my one Silkie hen Dot. That poor girl just can't figure out this hatching business. For the life of her she can't stay on an egg ~ she ends up laying right next to it, duh. I keep taking eggs away from her, removing her to the other coop for the day so she's eating & socializing. But the minute I put her in the Silkie coop for the night she goes right back to the nest to sit on air. If she would ever figure it out I would let her keep a few, but she's a dingbat, Lol. I even trimmed her crest thinking it was a vision problem, not the problem.![]()

Would almost be worth the cost of an incubator just for the show.
I thought the same thing! I think he can do it! depends on this bator he is getting though!
She's having a blast, if she wasn't eating & hanging out with the other birds in the other coop during the day I would be worried about her. But she's eating fine & all, just haven't successfully broken her with her daily outings.I'm still have the same dilemma with my one Silkie hen Dot. oor thing. Seems like I've heard silkies don't have to much upstairs as far as brains. Is that true? Or is it another breed that I'm thinking?
