No is very good as a vermin exterminator ( he will eat Any rodent or snake ( not an anaconda!) that he will see) but they are much more assertive than the chickens and they will continue to bully them!

That's one reason I'd like to keep him. I was planning on getting more but I'm kinda scared to now. I don't want them fighting or killing my chickens. I'd be easier to get rid of one then a whole bunch of them. If I knew that getting more would stop them from fighting I'd get more.

Red, I didnt get as far as eating a guinea but I cleaned it and got it to the freezer. Much harder then chicken to process.  All dark meat.  Mine got along fine with the chickens most the time but I am going to assume you have a male and he needs girl. My male was pretty protective of his girls til they went on the nest then he could care less.  While you are deciding what to do with him give him a mirror.

there is one or 2 here that we dont get along very well, Im not sure why they come .  One I /we all agreed didnt really belong but all the rest I have met here do feel like family to me. I think I would (finish) losing my mind without you all..

Charlie took his bottle! All 6 oz! He even suckled properly twice for about 10 seconds. And he sucked on my hand when he lost the nipple. I can see the edge of the woods!

Edit: he had been bleating at the kennel door for about two hours. I think he's finally settled in.
