I just like the jubilee coloration. I thought my speckled Sussexes were jubilee orps when I bought them.

they are black and white right ? It throws too much black on the tolbunt and makes the top too small. Thats what most like is the hair doo.

I do love that all my nieces were inspired after I got chicks... They now have a pig and three goats too. Lol my poor sister.

Granny has my one SS that survived from the order I had placed intending it to be my new flock (before we decided we're moving) - can't wait to see how it grows up. DD and I are absolutely in love with the look of them - suppose that is one upside of moving, when I was out there last spring my favorite farm store had TONS of SS chicks in their brooders - and lots of other breeds that TSC/RK don't bother getting out here.
