for some reason when ever you get a "new doctor" they don't seem to believe anything in the patient's file and must redo all the tests. Personally I think its because they didn't get their "cut" on the first round of tests. The problem is if you don't then I believe they can justify not proscribing the medications. And they call crooks criminals.

Thats it in a nut shell ! I dont have time for this crap.

giving them to the guys is illegal as well. I dont understand why some people want them . they dont make me high . they help the pain some and make me run off at the mouth. They must effect people a lot different then they do me.

They don't affect you because you are actually treating pain. Only when you don't need them will they give the high.

both Robert and Rod have "pain" clinic Doctor's for various issues. I hate the thought of flushing drugs down the toilet some how seems much worse then flushing mice.

I would keep them. Controlled substances are controlled, and no telling if you could get them in some emergency when they might be needed. Just keep them hidden in a safe place and don't talk about it. You might attract thieves.

ddr. called again, said to call hospital and set an appt for a breathing test for tom. He has already been through this. they put him o2 he stopped it himself. Whats the point ?

@Wishing4Wings Thank you for the info about them not doing that if you need them. There is such a stigma attached to them and so many that say they can "handle the pain", that it actually gives me a guilty complex when I do take them. Bad enough that I even went to the pharmacist to ask her about me. She pretty much laughed at me . But the way this dr. acted just , I dont know, makes you feel like I am 2in. tall.

Back from picking up hubs and doing a little grocery shopping. I'm also back lying down. Had to wash my hair, necessary, but very hard on the back. phooey. Stomach bugging me too.


Granny, that's what the drs told us when my grandma needed morphine after surgery. If it is relieving pain, the person is not in danger of addiction. Unfortunately for her, it gave her horrible hallucinations that scared her. Took me a long time to convince her that there were no creatures crawling out of the light fixtures and no dogs hanging from the tree outside! Poor grandma. I think mom asked them to give her something else.


I'm grumpy too. Feel terrible that hubs is fixing dinner as soon as he gets back. Maybe I'll feel better after dinner.
