The tolbunts are grown

Only got two left now. 3/4 were Roos. Sold one, gave the best one away as he had wry tail

It just came on from one day to the next and I didn't want to use him for breeding. So I have one too left that's not that good a colour and a little pullet. Still got one of the darker pullets from that hatch too.

I culled the gimpy leg Pekin/Cochin. Well I bottled it and Charlie shot it for me

So out in the shed I have 2 Columbian blacktaiks, a lavendar Pekin/Cochin and an unknown bantam Orpington.

Ordered some more Pekin/Cochin eggs and should be able to collect next Thursday

well that sucks . Maybe we can find a different breeder. A lot of them are inbred. Thats why some mix a gold laced in there. Pretty sure thats the problem I am having with them too. at least your ready to hatch again !

This roo I have kept, I'm going to breed him with my gold lace hens then try to find some unrelated Tolbunt and breed those offspring to the new. Going to be a long project. Yep have the room again and I'm using a different breeder for these Pekin eggs. I can collect as its only a 45 min drive away.

go to profile scroll down to albums click on the one you want then click edit pics and scroll thru click on the delete box then down to save

shoot, I cant tell. was sitting out there last night after they were locked up watching GS plant my shrubs and there was one baby come jumped on me. Bout scared me half to death. LOL
