and how is that truly any different then they way they raise meat chickens and turkeys ?? About the same life span and same rearing conditions. KFC uses the same birds

we love chickens more. Thats the difference. not too any have pet cows.
 
I eat veal occasionally and need it for my Swedish meatballs. I just tell myself it's better then the dairy bull calves being killed at birth. As they aren't cost effective to raise up for beef and are NOT future milk makers.

Here it is the male dairy calves that go for veal.

Not much different, but at least the layers can walk around now. So can the veal calves.

I can taste the difference in it and name brands like deans. It just aint right but I buy it anyway.

I was buying raw milk but found little black specks in it so I stopped.

same here but there are ways around it. You buy a share in the cow and then pay a monthly "boarding fee" for which you get a gallon of milk a week unless the cow is drying off. The farmer keeps all calves and the meat from the cow when she goes to sale or slaughter
