Established trees and shrubs don't need it every day. No lawn. Dry and crunchy!

the tomatoes. LOL do you water them every day ? or a lot ?

I love to see people stand up for what's right...MY DH calls it butting in/being nosey.
He is silly/WRONG...lol

Heat and low moisture can cause the edges of the tomato leaves to die back, then twist and curl. Hot dry weather may also cause a symptom called physiological leaf roll. This is a self- defense response, where leaves and leaflets curl slightly to prevent further water loss (Fig. 6).

Quote: Well, we have tried just about everything. Hubs took a work shop from a local group called Harvest for the Hungry. They said to not water them too much. That didn't work. Every day doesn't work. I deep water them every 3 days or so. Soil is poor here. We add to it, but I want to empty the raised beds and replace it with 100% compost. That's my plan for next year. Even the beans aren't doing well this year. It has to be the soil.
