Hey hitting dirt mounds are better then golf balls. My dad own a golf driving range and it's quite scary when you hit one of those things if it didn't get picked up before mowing

Im sorry Hen, I didnt see this post. Nice grass then . a mole wouldnt dare ! No, I sure wouldnt want to hit golf balls

Sigh -- just got a message from mom - she's at the ER with my sister (the one with kidney disease).........last time (right before we got here) it was bad enough that they did go ahead and refer her to the transplant team, but now it's a balancing act of her being sick enough to qualify for transplant but not so sick that she can't have it if/when they get around to her (it can take weeks or months even after you get the referral/assignment to a team).  Just waiting to hear if I need to pack a bag and go watch the farm/niece........

I am so sorry for your family. I hope her issues are resolved quickly.

I keep thinking about my sister, We both had the test 4 yrs. ago. I had a few pre-cancerous polyps they removed and she was clear.  fast forward and again , we are both having the same test at the same time. (its supposed to be 5 yrs.)  Neither one of us knew the other was having it done.  This time I am clear and she has cancer.  They cant even operate unless they can shrink it.  You know I have to ask why. She dont even smoke.

We just never know what Gods plan is. It's so hard to understand.

Yikes! Our next door neighbor back in Indiana used to have a "golf course" in his back yard --- it was a big lot and he and the guy from the next place over were both retired and had nothing better to do so they had set themselves up a three hole course, second guy would come over with his golf cart that they used around the farm and they'd putter around out there all day long.....fortunately they kept very good track of their balls........

Pawpaw flowers

Those are beautiful, Jane!

Thank you - she was diagnosed back in November of last year somewhat out of the blue so it has been very sudden from "just fine" to "time for a transplant" very quickly. The good news is, once she has a transplant she will be disease free and it will not occur in the new kidney.......just a matter of getting her to that point before things get too bad.
