I have never like greasy food or fat or black pepper. If we ever had salami, I would pick the pepper bits out and the biggest chunks of fat. Family thought I would make a good doctor since I surgically removed every speck of fat from my meat. If I eat bacon, every last drop of fat has been rendered out and (you will hate me for this) the bacon grease is kept in the freezer until the can is full.... and I throw it in the garbage.

oh my ! I am always on the hunt for bacon grease. I am lazy and dont fry it enough. supply and demand. But thats why I have had HA and you havent. Keep up the good work. I dont put pepper or sausage in my gravy. I dont care for pepper either. just bacon greaes in the bottom, fry some flour brown and add milk and salt.

the do get free lunch . and no books now just computer. sad
Yes, they went all "e-book" before we left -- but they still call it "book rental fees" on what they charge at the beginning of each year and do include the "technology fees" in the breakdown.

Here are the two hona cocks I'll use for breeding. I need to see them in a "real world" situation before I decide if I'm keeping Ragnar or not.

This is Bjorn, Ragnar and Lagertha's offspring. I have two pullets from the other breeder I can put with him.

This is Crow, the little turd who was crowing at three weeks. Clever name right?

He's from the other breeder, so I can put him with Lagertha and all of her daughters. He took longer to fill out, but I've always liked him.

OH - so pretty, er handsome! What sort of egg production do the hens have?
I think my husband just accepted a new position at work????? Fingers crossed!!!!

Oh, wow -- a good thing, right??

Received in an email just a few minutes ago

I just got a phone call from my vet. We are good to go for Saturday. The bull passed the trick test and the cows and heifer are ear tagged and looking forward to their new home. I will pick up the Health Certificate tomorrow and get copies of the registration papers ready.
What time will you be here on Saturday?
Have a great day!
Craig

you all wouldnt believe the convo I just had w/ DD. LL cutting her electric off, needs to store her food somewhere til friday when they move. she will look for someone closer but MIGHT need to bring it here. I said, why would you want to store your food with a stranger ? They will eat it. She says , If I bring it over there CB will it it..

Really ? I said well, It sure as hell wouldnt hurt you to feed your kid but if you rather feed a stranger then go for it.

- that's about all I can think to say about that, at least with the mixed company of a rather personal nature for you on this thread these days

kinda good news for a change. Just talked my sister. she is stage 3 . she got her port today and will start chemo and radiation monday. The cancer is in her rectum, lymph nodes and bowels but the prognosis is good. After they shrink it they will operate and put a bag on her side but its not going to kill her. It hasnt spread to her other organs.

Oh, happy news!!!!!!!

Dd did same thing with het groceries. Didn t even ask before she put them in frig & freezer. Dh said tie the sacks up jane & dont use it. Sure enough she came back in a few days & fussed me out that we had ate her food & she was taking ours to replace it. Caused a shouting match between dh & her.

Wow - just, wow!
She called.

I broke her computer lol.

Can't run my credit, it's giving her errors. Greeeeeaaaat.

So hopefully tomorrow she says her it gurus get it figured and fixed.

Oh, star, what can you do but laugh at that point?
Reminds me of when I was working at the BMV and taking the pictures for peoples' licenses/IDs and would get the "fatal error" message from the digital imaging system -- had to work really hard at finding a nice way to tell someone they literally broke the camera.......
