TSC info says an adult laying hen eats about a ¼ lb of food per day, so 4 oz. Growing chick would need almost that, I'd expect.the jury is still out as to how much a 3 month old chick should eat but thats not much.

SBR 19 is quite rotund I wonder if his bull didn't catch her very early this spring ??of course she is old and I have nothing to compare her belly to could be she just has cooper's drop of the tummy![]()
