you can find the recipe on foodnetwork.com Roasted Tomato Soup by Tyler Florence. I made the soup once but have used the roasting part for a base stock. I basically stop after the first paragraph and when it's cool I give it a quick blend in the blender and put that in containers and freeze it.
I have doctored this up. Bacisally I chop up fresh basil and add some Italian seasoning right ontop of the tomato onion mixture on the cookie sheet.Any kind of onions work also. Mrs. Rancher will know how to make this work.
