Poodles also have hair instead of fur so it would probably be a different experience for you anyway. Hopefully he doesn’t mind it though. Mine have kind of disliked ear trims more than you’d expect. Is he good with nails?

She plays in the yard by herself so usually if she’s been in the pool, her feet are dry again by the time she comes in. However, the time they were wet for, which is the rest of the time she’d been out playing, is long enough that it makes it bad. If she does come in with wet feet though, I always dry her off. otherwise she’ll leave footprints everywhere lol.

Not really. He’s not mean or anything but he wiggles a lot LOL I can sometimes sneak one or two nails before he catches on.

Mine freaking hate it for some reason. Apparently trimming their ear hair is a violating process lol

Ive done it since 8 weeks grooming is easy. They learned from 8 weeks scissors and brushes anywhere are ok. But our labs hated brushing

Exactly he’s just scared honestly. It’s gotten worse since I’ve quicked him a couple times by accident although honestly my SIL can do it no problem!!! She did it for me once with ease!!! Of course I was holding him the whole time but still. It’s much easier with someone holding him, I’ve decided. Or with the sling thing I want to try lol

I have to do my havaneese’s nails myself, usually wrapped up in a towel since he’s small enough. The groomer officially banned him from that service because of how much of a maniac he becomes lol.

Yeah I feel so bad and also the blood everywhere is the worst

And wow that sucks!!!! I’ve honestly never tried a professional groomer with him. But I don’t really have the money right now anyway or a way to get there lol

Dawg, what kind of dog is Brew? I’m assuming he’s the one in your pfp, which happens to look just like my Molly (who was a black lab and bully mix). She passed away about 10 years ago but amazingly lived a whole 15 years despite how big she was.
