Here they are! Just moved. At this rate... I think I’m gonna need something even BIGGER soon enough. Sooo, I think I’ll put them in a coop on the ground with a heat lamp after they outgrow this.

*the paper towels was just for today. I’ve got to pick up more shavings tomorrow.

Also they may not be buff Orpingtons. That’s what they were sold as but the wings are coming in mostly white with a bit of black. I’ll get close ups later.

Foot colour seems wrong for Orp, actually.
Often it changes, and it may be the light.

A friend ordered them from a Hatchery. She ordered from ideal. It was a spilt order. She got barred rocks and I told her I’d take buff Orpingtons. I’m okay with it if they aren’t buff Orpingtons, it’s just weird that none of them have feathers coming in buff colored... hmm

I got a friend to get one from work. If you know someone that works somewhere where they have watermelons in big boxes, it can’t hurt to ask!

Thanks. I am having trouble thinking of how I would find one. I do know someone who works at Starbucks (or used to) I think inside an ingles grocery store. I’m just not sure if she still does cuz of covid

The color straightens out as they grow. I am 100% sure you got a bunch of adorable buff orpingtons.
