Guinea talk.

I find that I always have a couple who are limping around. I have soaked feet in Epsom salts and have tried to wrap, and crate them to encourage rest, but not with much luck. I did buy some Vet tape, but haven't used it yet - you might have luck with that depending on the issue. Sorry, that's about all that I can share on feet issues. I just resigned myself to the fact that I'll always have limpers.
My guineas aren't limping but I have 2 limping ducks. I checked their feet and no bumps or anything.

Does anyone have pics of the royal purple guineas?
I don't have any pics I just have 2 pearl guineas. I bet those are going to be beautiful guineas. You will have to share pics with us when you get yours. I'm jealous already.

Aubree my greatgranddaughter come over a couple of days ago. I let Spiderman and Mary Jane in the house so she could see them. She calls them keeters like we do. Spiderman was sitting on my lap and Aubree was petting him. Sometimes she would take her hand and run it the opposite direction of his feathers making them stand up. Spiderman would turn around and look at her as if to say, Oh it's the child petting me thats ok. He never offered to peck her. I explained to her you have to run your hand down the feathers he likes that kind of petting.

I have quite a few colors, but no royal purples....I wish I did though! ! I found a picture of one on the internet and included the link below. It sounds like they are kind of similar to a pearl gray but with a deep purple tint. You'll have to take some pictures and share them with us when you get them!
