Our first EVER egg from our 'Tina' (Dominique)!! We thought it was our RIR, but we caught Tina in the act on Sunday giving us our second egg and singing. We are beside ourselves! 19 weeks and 6 days seems like eternity, but i tell you, this is by far the best feeling! My husband was working behind the house on an excavator and heard me screaming from across the yard over a running engine. That tells you something. :ya:ya:ya

It looks like eggs from 2 different chickens. I would guess the RIR is laying too. GC
I thought that too, and guessed the Dominique eggs would get more uniformly shaped and darker over time. Well .. if i have two laying i am just TICKLED! (we will honestly never know, all 7 in the flock will lay brown eggs LOL).
