I only have the one rooster, and am thinking about adding only one or maybe two younger roosters; there are no hens any longer and I don’t plan to get any (finding the Silkies were hens was really a surprise; by the time I noticed, we had a dozen eggs to gather!)
I’m worried about not being able to quarantine, even though the rehomers are local they’re not from the same original farm.

Keep us posted on how it goes!

It seems you already received some good advice about introducing new birds to the flock- quarantine is always a smart bet too (hopefully you'll find a way to). I am so sorry to hear of the loss of your other chickens though!

Good to know you found the website in researching care tips; alot of folks seem to find BYC through web searches. Hopefully you'll see just how friendly and helpful these folks are!
