I'm a complete newbie when it comes to incubators, do I leave the red plug in?

Please tell me you have at least one calibrated thermometer in there and a salt tested humidity gauge.

Remember you can not trust the installed instruments that come with the incubator.

You must purchase separate ones and calibrate them.

Not stupid. It is removed the last week to allow more oxygen. Most of us keep it out, and lose it. We don’t see a decrease in hatch rate by not keeping it in.

Will one like this work? I live in the sticks and our stores are limited on what they have in stock...

I also have an automatic egg turner so how do I fit this in there?
