Unfortunately I am in . I am more of an addict than I thought. I’d set them on the 10th but I have white Silkie eggs from Karen Larson hatching on the 11th. Then I’m having hatching white, splash and buff Silkie eggs from Billye Davis sent you me on the 11th and will set them when the incubator is free . I swore I’d never have chicks when the weather was cold. Good thing I have SIX Broodys.

*reminder* tomorrow is the 10th for anyone planning to hatch chickens!!! hopefully those bators are warmed up and ready!! i’ve already collected around 65 quail eggs from my girls with a few more days to go.......i was planning a small batch so i’ve got some choosing to do here!!

Thanks! I gotta candle tonight pull my older clears and then ill be able to ad my chickens eggs. Up to 7 Hona hopefully 8 tumro and 7 BLRW and 5 BSL

I'm sorry you're caught up in all of that! How in the heck do people manage in summer with power being shut off during hot weather?

Sorry didn’t see this last night or I fell asleep. Fortunately when it gets too windy it also gets cooler. Our highest temp for the week is 80 which is great.

Also the power wasn’t turned off at our house however my neighbors and most of the town was. How we managed to stay on is beyond me. Traffic lights were down. Traffic was horrible. We still aren’t out of the woods yet and some people have been off since Monday. So I’m told.

Actually saw stars out this morning. Haven’t seen the dipper in a long time. We are too dependent on electricity but I don’t have to tell this group that.

Mean time eggs are piling up.

Have 38 eggs ready and putting them in around 2 pm. Might have 2 more eggs if my girls decide to lay before 2.

I can't wait to see everyones chicks!

thinking about setting eggs today. I wanted to hatch quail but my quail just stopped laying i'm not sure why. Maybe I can find some eggs though.
