Here's the OEGB chick that hatched. It's got some friends waiting for it in the brooder that came in today.

Here's the OEGB chick that hatched. It's got some friends waiting for it in the brooder that came in today.

Awe. Cute. I hadn't planned to keep any from this hatch because I have orders to fill, but after the first person takes hers, that will only leave three, not enough to fill any of the other orders, so I'm keeping the dark one in the last pic, and whatever other two she doesn't take. I figure I'll be left with two that have the pigment leakage in the skin, so I'll grow them out a few weeks and probably sell them as pet quality for cheaper.

There's four viable due next week, unless there's two I really like, I'll try to sell them and once the other couple orders are filled, I'm going to schedule a hatch were I can have an assortment to choose from for myself, then sell the extras.

My hatchling is Icelandic, I'm hoping to breed them. They're kind of small. That's wonderful! My little is complaining loudly!

About 45 minutes away. I've got a 3 day old female buff orp chick that I want to sell, and some slightly older EEs, some of which are part ayam cemani.

My first hatch I had a soul survivor and he was loud! If he wasn't out with us he was not happy. Lol It was a September hatch so no one had chicks at that time. He became a very spoiled kid...lol
