Or at the very least, the one in Pyxis' link... I had a 1602N before and it was solid too... passed it on to another when I got the Genesis...
I have the 1583, and I love it. Tiny bit cheaper than the 1588, non digital, but has that nice big picture window and holds a steady temp. Mine (w/o Turner) was $122 from Amazon.
How long after an egg pips and no further progress is made should I consider helping? I don't want to be too hasty and hurt the chick by mistake.
Usually about 24hrs is my comfort time... how long has yours been pipped?
Btw, glad to see you again! I have a link for you, gotta go grab it...![]()
The one egg in question, since late yesterday afternoon, about 18 hours now. Two chicks that piped before it already are out as well as one that pipped last night. I have two others working on getting out, moving around in their eggs, and one egg hasn't done anything at all yet.
Good to see you too! ^_^
