Hard water and my hair

    We have VERY hard water here, and my hair is feeling the effects of it. Is there anything I can do??

    Soften your water, with salt.

    We dont have a water softener. That would have been the obvious choice [​IMG] We rent also. No chance of us buying one either.

    I used to have well water and the iron in it would make my hair red and kinda stiff feeling. I would do a beer rinse once a month but I also hears apple cider vinager works well.

    With a shower there is no other way than a machine. If it was a bathtub, you can add borax and that removes the hardness, if you are going to do this look it up first! Is your water well, or city?

    ive never heard the term hard water before. kinda contradicts itself..................
