Started a group of Silkies today, 13 Total.
Little Giant 9200, egg turner, computer fan added. Temp. 100 degrees, Hum. 25.
Wanted dry incubation but may have to add water to maintain a 30%-35% humidity.

is this a good incbator??

I like it so far, it takes a little work to maintain the humidity. I cut a sponge into a strip and placed it into the well on the bottom of the bator, and use a funnel with a straw taped to it to add water to the sponge or well as needed.

Well, it is day 20 and 2 have arrived, both buff. No sign of piping in other eggs yet. Maybe I'll wake up to a surprise.

Got another buff and a black one. So far 4 chicks out of 12 eggs. This is day 22.
