Hatch Along - Setting eggs June 7th.....anyone else?

Yay! This will be fun.

The Seramas I remember the most was a lady who had them out. She had a little roo..I think he was Frizzled, he was soooo dang cute struttin' around and crowing his itty bitty crow.

Shelley, I think it will be fun to see what the chicks look like..quite a mix.

I have sevral sets of eggs from diffrent set dates rangeing back to the 18th , 1st and 2nd, but I have a box of eggs comeing for today so I can join you guys. If I can find room in my incubators

Oh! I think that was Anna's little guy. She lives up here in WA. I'll find out for sure. The itty bitty crowing cracks me up!

I don't have a video of a crowing serama rooster but if you google it, you will find lots of videos. They are super cute!

I set 29 yesterday. An egg cracked today, so now I am down to 28. I think I have 7 leghorns, 4 australorps, 4 brahmas, 6 barred rocks, 5 golden comets, and 2 new hampshires. The roosters could be any of the following: light brahma, bantam cochin, blue orpington, or rhode island. My temp is stable at 100 and my humidity at 50. This is my first experience with an incubator, a homemade styrofoam one.

I have:

24 silkies due to hatch Monday
5-6 Copper Marans to hatch the 13th
1 Welsh Harlequin duck to hatch June 15th
3 Welsh ducks to hatch June 18th
3 Welsh ducks to hatch Jun 26th
1 Call duck to hatch June 24th

I have 24 cochins to arrive next week, some cochin/silkie cross and some call ducks as well. This is my grand finale or my DH might kill me! This is my first year to hatch and I am addicted!

I am so excited to see what I will get. I also have a broody australorp who should be a mom of 8 next week. Same mixes.
