Hatch Along - Setting eggs June 7th.....anyone else?

Can I join, I have not been on in a couple days and just found this thread. I have 9 BBS Orpinton eggs I put in my incubator on the 7th. I purchased them off ebay, I hope they hatch!!

LOL! Yes, Gabrielle1976 wins for hand turning! Wow!! Good thing you have them in egg crates because what a nightmare it would be to try to keep them all turned the way you want them while turning the others!

My incubator now looks like this cuase I got eggs today and Im not shure all my quail eggs were in the last picture I posted . But Im not trying to hand turn them I tilt the bator .


I am bery much hopeing that my new incubator comes and the eggs in lock down in my other LG all get done by monday night so I can fix this mess.

There are now 9 poults! 7 look Narragansett(I think) and 2 Royal Palm. We know the Wild turkey had it going on! We also now know that Strut has no fertility issues =) There were 14 eggs to start..so 5 more. She is being an awesome Mom.

Congratulations! I would like to try raising turkeys one day soon too

So, I couldn't wait until my planned day 7 candling.....I candled some tonight and I have the starts of growing babies!

Well crap! My cat or dog must have unplugged the bator by accident. I know when I went o bed at 1 am it was fine, but I just looked at it and the temp was 74 degrees and the humidity was 81%. We plugged it back in...I hope it didn't ruin everything.
