Did you see any movement? I candled last night and pulled out four, 1 clear, 2 blood rings and one that quit because it had a blood spot. 4 others are questionable~which experience has shown me probably means they are quitters!
I am down to 7 that look favorable and 5 of those have embryos that hang out at the top near the air cell, and when I candle the light scares them and they quickly drop down into the small part of the egg~makes me laugh, it is so funny
This is the worst batch of eggs I've tried to incubate! I recieved my new batch of eggs yesterday in the mail and two were broken, one cracked and most with really bad air sacs!
I now am sure both these batches of eggs I'm incubating have been shipped by air which really screws them up
I understood when I bought them that my chances of a good hatch would be slim, but it still is upsetting when most of your eggs are ending up in the garbage!
I'm so sorry about that!
If it makes you feel better I have a friend down that street that has bought 2 orders of Lavender Silkie eggs and none of the eggs in EITHER batch even formed.
